Asset upnp no artwork marantz 50101/13/2024 I've brought many products which I change the combinations of to best suit my needs. Well David, my audio-visual tastes are eclectic. Incidentally, concerning « check your home network » how does our own compare to that of Japan's ? Are there disparities that their (presumably Japanese) Apps developers should take into account for other countries ? *If the App doesn't work well, please try to reboot your mobile device, unplug the power cord of the main unit and reinsert into the power outlet or check your home network. *Please set "Network Standby / IP Control / Network / Network Control" to "On / Always On" in your Marantz product’s menu to use this app. Please check a latest firmware by following each User manual. *may require an online firmware update for the use of this application. Network CD Receiver Melody Media (M-CR610) ![]() *3: The OS language setting is automatically detected when not available, English is selected. *2: An HDMI connection between the AVR and Blu-ray player (HDMI Control setting = ON for both AVR and Blu-ray player) is required. *1: During fast network browsing, the AVR GUI and Remote App display may be temporarily out of sync. Multi-Language Support (English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Swedish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Polish) (*3) New Marantz Blu-ray Player Control when paired with 2012 or later AVR and Blu-ray Models (*2) Playlist management for Network Music File Playback (Create/Edit/Delete) Fast Thumbnail Browsing for Network Music File Playback (*1) Assignable Home Screen Shortcut Buttons Single Page Multi Zone Control Screen for AV Receivers Languages: English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish I guess my only option is to look for someone who can develop an apps specifically for Marantz. any action made in the actual remote will be mirrored by the app. How hard can that be? Yamaha's remote apps acts exactly the same way the actual remote apps and they can be used as the same time. If they can only create an apps that behaves exactly how the web interface remote does then problem solve. It's weird because using the web interface remote does act like the actual remote of the Unit. Unfortunately, the D&M apps only fully support their latest Denon & Marantz streaming devices and it's unlikely that they'll be updated to provide gapless support for their older streamers like the Marantz NA-7004 & the Denon DNP-720AE, which require the controller to use a different method to get them to play gaplessly. I had suspected as much, since the same problem exists with the D&M Denon DNP-720AE - see previous posts, especially #12, #16 & #21 for further info & a likely explanation. Thanks for confirming that the Marantz NA-7004 only supports gapless playback via UPnP streaming when using its own remote and not with the D&M apps. I just want music to the backyard (Zone 2) - ultimate sound quality is not an issue but wish to get through the list of music reasonably spiffy I created a 750 song playlist as a work around and it has better performance (speed of loading and ability to scan through the list) but still takes a while to "load" - really not spiffy whiffling through the list ![]() Perfomace is dismal as the Marantz APP seems to scan the library or disc drives EVERY TIME program is invoked - takes minutes and then performace only fair. ![]() Marantz internet aware AVR in second room. Goal is to get music to Zone 2 of AVR for backround listening with reasonable performanceĬAPS1 server, JRiver 19, Jremote, 100+K FLAC files on a NAS -> works great - stable, spiffy, works I have never tried doing this before yesterday, so perhaps someone has another solution (if I am doing things correctly) or can tell me what to do (if I am doing it wrong)
